“Cultural dimensions of communication and trust” - Presentation and panel discussion at the Responsible Raw Materials conference 2023

A conversation between Plutonic Raw Materials Advisory and Satarla about strategic change and trust in the minerals sector.

Our world is rapidly changing due to climate change, geopolitical drivers, and social changes. We often speak of the need for green technology and the associated materials we need to deliver. Whilst these materials are certainly needed, we also need to transform the way we work in organizations and with stakeholders. For tis to work, we need clear communication, trust, and proactive strategies. When we build the new minerals value chains we need, we often work across different cultures.

This conversation was hosted at the Responsible Raw Materials Conference 2023, with the theme “Material Value Chains: The Criticality of Trust”. During this conversation, Gijsbert Wierink and Satarla’s Sarah Gordon explore the cultural dimensions of trust and discuss tools to help visualize differences and bridge gaps. Please enjoy the video below and I look forward to hearing your thoughts and insights on this topic.
